padding wird nicht erkannt

    hallo liebe gemeinde^^

    ich hab ein problem in der css meiner homepage...undzwar will ich in meinem menü den text samt <td>background um 8px von links verschieben im ie klappts, aber aus irgendeinem grund macht er mir da über der <td> auch nen abstand und im mozilla wird das garnet erkannt -.-

    hier mal ein auzug aus der css:

    ich hoff mir kann hier jemand helfen denn ich bin mit meinem latein am ende! 10ner bekommt ihr auch wenn ihr wollt

    vielleicht macht er den abstand über dem <td> wegen nem padding-bottom oder margin-bottom vom drüberliegenden element

    zeig am besten mal den html-code und ned nur den css-teil

    Hm, ich würd dir vorschlagen entweder css oder html-tabellen zu nehmen.
    Aber net beides mischen!

    Du könntest doch einfach nen zeilenumbruch vor dem Vote4us machen.
    Dann wäre es doch auch tiefer?
