#1 7. Februar 2005 Das Dateiverschlüsselungsprogramm Blowfish Advanced CS wird jetzt wieder aktiv weiterentwickelt. Nach einer Generalüberholung bietet es jetzt auch stärkere Kompressionsverfahren (ZIp/deflate und BZIP2) an. Die Software ist immer noch kostenlos. Der Quelltext ist frei einzusehen. Die Bedienoberfläche lässt sich dynamisch auf englisch oder deutsch anzeigen. Der Autor hatte die Entwicklung im Jahr 2002 zunächst eingestellt hat nun aber wieder die Arbeit an der Software aufgenommen. Nachdem in der letzten Version kleinere Probleme bei der Installation unter Windows XP auftraten, wurden diese in dieser Version behoben und die Oberfläche optisch leicht verbessert. Hinzu kommt, daß der Download mit der neuen Version 2.52.00.122 um ca. 20 Prozent geschrumpft ist.
