Openvpn startet nicht automatisch

    Hallo, ich würde gerne meinen VPN Server automatisch starten lassen. Allerdings hab ich in etc/init.d kein Eintrag der Openvpn heißt. Ich kann den Dienst nicht finden, und somit auch nicht im Runlevel eintragen.
    Kann mir wer helfen?

    was denn für eine distribution? und was haste denn alles in /etc/init.d (manchmal heißen die initscripts anders^^)? ...mfg coach

    hast du in /etc/rc2.d einen mit S beginnenden symlink zu ../init.d/openvpn ?

    Sorry das ich erst jetzt schreibe, also ich hab Suse 11.1
    Bei mir existiert in init.d kein openvpn.
    Da ist garnix,das ist ja das Problem.
    Im Ordner rc2.d ist kein Eintrag der auf openvpn hinweist.

    aso du hast suse. ich bin von debian ausgegangen.
    da musst dich mal schlau machen, wo bei suse die init scripte und die ordner für die runlevel liegen.
    vielleicht heißen die ordner auch init.2 oder irgend sowas in der preisklasse. oder evtl noch ein unterordner wie /etc/rc.d/1/wasweißich.
    bei suse solltest aber irgend n klickibunti menü haben, was die autostartsachen verwaltet (yast).

    ja über yast ist auch nicht möglich, dort befindet sich kein Openvpn.
