problem mit der installation von autorank php

There are several important things to take note on about this script.
Please read this file and follow all directions to get AutoRank PHP working properly.

Installation:
Step 1: Upload all files and folders to your desired autorank directory on your server.

Step 2: Chmod a+rwx (chmod 777) all folders that were uploaded.

Step 3: Chmod a+rwx (chmod 777) index.php, in.php, and out.php. This will be necessary for
 the script to function properly so do not skip it.

Step 4: Create a mysql database to be used by AutoRank PHP. This can be done thru shell by 
 accessing the mysql prompt and typing 'CREATE DATABASE desired-db-name;' Or you can
 use any mysql admin program such as phpmyadmin (http://phpmyadmin.sourceforge.net).

Step 5: Point your web-browser to http://www.yoursite.com/arpdir/init.php

Step 6: Fill in the mysql database details pertaining to the user who has permissions to 
 access the db you created in step 4.

Step 7: If you followed the above directions, no errors should have occured and you are 
 ready to log in to admin/setup.php using username admin and password admin.

Step 8: Complete the config form you are taken to.

Step 9: Configure your templates and you are ready to go.

Important things to know about the author of AutoRank PHP.
 --For those of you who downloaded AutoRank PHP 2.0.0b from me, I mentioned that the 
 developer had code in the script that would email him your admin username and password
 when you change it. Apparently he got tired of this feature because it has been removed
 in this version.
 --The second thing to note about this was a piece of code hidden under the function
 generateImage(); The code was a chunk of base64 encoded text that when unencrypted
 resulted in a string of hex characters that would be converted to ASCII and result in
 the link Powered by AutoRank PHP. This function is also pulled out so no link is 
 generated.

Enjoy using a Safe version of AutoRankPHP where your admin username and password are not 
emailed to the developer so he can view all your details and members.
