Desweiteren die Regeln, die auch fürs Deutsche gelten kannst du im Englischen auch anwenden. Vokabeln lernen ist ja wohl selbstverständlich =). Ist eigentlich ganz easy . + Multi-Zitat Zitieren

November 2008 AW: Tipps fürs schreiben von Summary and Letter naja ich denke es macht keinen großen unterschied in welcher sprache, denn deine frage bezieht sich wohl auf die gliederung usw., richtig? Schreib es einfach in einer sinnvollen reinfolge. im summery eben eins nach dem anderen und je nach dem wie viel von dir verlagt wird entsprechende menge. ließ es dir noch ein bis zwei mal durch und guck ob du alles geschrieben hat was rein muss. der rest ist denke ich mal eine frage wie gut du die entsprechende sprache (in deinem fall englisch) beherrschst. das sind so die dinge auf die ich achte, wenn ich freie texte verfasse. lg venator + Multi-Zitat Zitieren

Ich sag mal was zu summary: etwa 1/3 so lang wie der Text an sich, also aufjedenfall viel kürzer als der Text an sich. Nur das nötigste, bei den fakten bleiben und das ganze objektiv ohne meinung sehen. keine adjektive, geühle etc, immer bei den fakten bleiben ist das wichtigste. link words und nich immer says und so. viele wörter zum beschreiben und all sonem zeug lernen die helfen dir unter umständen sehr. + Multi-Zitat Zitieren

You can also note down headings for the different paragraphs. - Take notes of the importtnt facts and ideas. - Leave out information that is not essential, such as examples, detailed descriptions, statistics, etc. - Make a topic outline or use a grid to order your material. While writing - Start with a sentence naming the writer and story title and stating its main ideas. - Write the summary using your notes as guidance. - Use your own words as far as possible and do not copy sentences from the text. - Do not add your own opinion or interpretatio. - Do not quote from the text but use your own language as much as possible. - If necessary, change direct speech into reported speech. - For summarising fictional texts use the present simple. After writing - Re-read your summary and check if you have followed the rules above. - Have you covered all essential points? - Is your summary clear enough for somebody who does not know the original text? - Have you u sed connectives to link your sentences? - Have you checked your text for mistakes and correctness? Letter Before writing Informal letters: - As you usually refer to a letter you habe received, mark the points you entend to respond to. - Collect some more points you want to mention. - Order your points and notes. Formal letters: - Carefully consider whom you are writing your letter to, why you are writing it, and what you want to say or to achieve. - Note down the facts, points or ideas you may want to write about. - Arrange your material in a logical order. Use a grid or a similar technique. Letters are usually divided into 3 parts: a) reason for writing b) the subject c) polite conclusion While writing - Write your letter along your ordered notes. - In your introduction briefly say why you are writing. - Take care that the style, language and layout of your letter is approproate to the receiver and the purpose of writing. Informal style: It is used between people who feel comfortable and familiar with each other. It is chracterised by the use of rather colloquial, sometimes even slangy language, short forms and uncomplicated sentence structures. Formal style: It is used e.g. when writing to organisations, institutions, etc. or people you do not know very well. It is characterised by the neutral use of language, careful choiceof vocabulary, complex sentence structures and full forms. Formal style usually keeps a distance between writer and receiver.
