Hab ich mal im Netz gefunden, weiß leider nicht mehr wo: Eines Abends, als die Mutter gerade das Abendessen kochte, kam der elfjährige Sohn in die Küche, mit einem Zettel in der Hand. Er überreichte den Zettel mit einem seltsamen, amtlich anmutenden Gesichtsausdruck seiner Mutter, die sich daraufhin die Hände in der Schürze abwischte, den Zettel entgegennahm, und zu lesen begann: Für das Jäten des Blumenbeetes: 2 Euro Für das Aufräumen meines Zimmers: 8 Euro Weil ich Milch holen gegangen bin: 1 Euro Weil ich drei Nachmittage auf meine kleine Schwester aufgepasst habe: 12 Euro Weil ich zwei Einser bekommen habe: 8 Euro Weil ich jeden Tag den Müll raus bringen: 3 Euro Insgesamt: 34 Euro. Die Mutter blickt ihren Sohn an. Es kamen ihr unzählige Erinnerungen ins Gedächtnis. Dann nahm sie einen Stift, und begann auf einen anderen Zettel zu schreiben: Für neun Monate lang unter meinem Herzen tragen: 0 Euro Für alle durchwachten Nächte, die ich an deinem Krankenbett verbrachte: 0 Euro Für das viele Im-Arm-halten und Trösten: 0 Euro Für das Auftrocknen deiner Tränen: 0 Euro Für alles, was ich dir Tag für Tag beigebracht habe: 0 Euro Für jedes Frühstück, Mittagessen, Brotzeit und alles, was ich dir zubereitete: 0 Euro Für mein Leben, was ich dir jeden Tag gebe: 0 Euro Insgesamt: 0 Euro Als sie fertig war, gab die Mutter mit einem Lächeln den Zettel ihrem Sohn in die Hand.
